The caracal , also known as desert lynx is very beautiful wild cat, whose eyes radiate intelligence and concentration. You can encounter in the whole of Africa south of Sahara (not jungle) and the Arabian Peninsula (except the desert regions), Minor and Central Asia to India. Live in dry areas - forests, savannas, steppes and acacia scrub. The caracal is a nocturnal animal in the above areas, but in colder areas of the range he hunted at any time of day. It is the fastest wildcat by representatives of the Felidae family of this size. At the same time is nimble climber on trees, where the dangers or avoided (like the leopard) gets its prey to eaten alone.
